Sonoma/Napa Valley

Over Thanksgiving break, we flew into San Francisco and then drove into Sonoma Valley for the annual Holiday Open House of Sonoma Valley Winery Association. We managed to visit 16 wineries (of 21) in two days. We have so many favorites among the wineries visited. Here are just a few: beef bourguignon paired with Zinfandel from Little Vineyards Family Winery, crostini at St. Francis, chicken tacos paired with Chardonnay from Kunde Winery, spicy chicken tortilla soup with Pinot Noir at Mayo Winery, and tomato bacon pasta, pesto tuna pasta, both paired with Syrah at VJB.
We stayed at the Avia Hotel, which is at the center of Downtown Napa. Besides great food and friendly people, the sceneries in Sonoma, Napa, and San Francisco were absolutely beautiful.
these photos are beautiful, really makes it look like fall!
