To The Rescue

I was especially excited for this Labor Day weekend.  We threw a big birthday bash for my dad’s 60th birthday (I’ll share pictures soon).  My sister took the lead for all the planning and it was such a special event with our closest family friends and relatives.  At certain points of the party, I took a step back knowing how lucky I am to have such supportive parents.  And appreciating how much we’ve all grown and experienced together.

On to the outfit now.  I don’t exactly consider myself a huge comic book person.  I’m really not cool enough.  But I’m favoring the 3.1 Phillip Lim pre-fall collection which draws inspirations from my favorite art movement, Pop Art.  I love the vibrant colors and graphic prints.
