I’m all about snacks that are both healthy and delicious, like granola, trail mix, and kale chips. I had an abundance of apples from Trader Joe’s and decided to utilize them in some form of snack. I’ve made apple pie before so was opting for something lighter. Enter: apple chips. They are crispy, sweet, and super simple to make.
4 Granny Smith apples
1 lemon, juiced
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
1 tablespoon of sugar
1. Preheat oven to 200°.
2. Thinly slice apples.
3. Combine lemon juice and sugar together in a bowl.
4. Dip apple slices into lemon and sugar mix — this is to avoid apples from turning brown prematurely.
5. Arrange slices on parchment paper — do not overlap apple slices.
6. Sprinkle on cinnamon and more sugar if you wish.
7. Bake until apple slices are crisp. This can take up to 2 hours.

Hi Everyone! I hope you had a nice holiday weekend. The weather was beautiful in Los Angeles and it definitely feels like summer now. Maxi dresses or skirts are stables for me during hot summer days. The flow of this micro-pleaded chiffon maxi is insane. I especially love the vibrant colors of this skirt which makes it easy to pair with many different tops.
Wearing: Alice + Olivia top and skirt, Stuart Weitzman sandals, Essie’s “action” nail polish.

Hi everyone! Happy Memorial Day! I bet you all are excited for the long weekend – I sure am, too! I’m currently having fun creating American flag colored nails. In the pictures above, I am using Essie’s “e-nuf is e-nuf.” This is not quite a red polish, but more so a deep coral. I’m also using Essie’s “aruba blue.” Consider painting all of your nails in one color, leaving an accent nail on each hand. I am using Martha Stewart’s glitter to add some sparkle on the accent nail. I also added some stripes (used Sally Hansen’s nail art pen). Hmm, I need to have steadier hands and perfect these stripes a bit more.
I hope you have a fun and equally relaxing weekend! xo

I bought this Elizabeth and James blouse last year and it is one of my favorite items in my closet. I’ve paired it with black skinny jeans for work. I’ve also tucked the blouse into a pale pink maxi for a monochromatic look. I especially like the leather trims and pleats that contrast the feminine silk blouse.

Do you have a favorite dessert? Ice cream sandwich is one of my favorites – it takes me right back to childhood. I remember when the ice cream truck would come around, I used to debate over fancy popsicles in fruity flavors but would always end up with an ice cream sandwich. Even better if it was neapolitan. So when I was putting together this outfit, the color palette reminded me of my favorite dessert. Pink for strawberry, white for vanilla, and black for chocolate. Clearly I have food on my mind all the time.
I like to throw on a blazer or jacket when I’m wearing shorts. It keeps an otherwise casual look more sophisticated and polished. Wearing: Express tank top, Helmut Lang blazer, J Brand shorts, Stuart Weitzman flats, Balenciaga bag, Michael Kors watch, and Gorjana rings.
