Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts

One of my favorite things to do over the weekend is having brunch with friends or family. There’s something about a freshly brewed cup of coffee paired with pancakes that’s both indulging and relaxing. During a trip to Napa last year, we ordered a tiny bucket of cinnamon doughnuts to start. They were so good that I knew I had to try to recreate them.

I got a doughnut pan and mix. Since these doughnuts were baked, the consistency was cake-like. The doughnuts are best served warm. Thought I prefer doughnuts that are fried over baked, I was still quite happy with the results.
