Making pumpkin pie has been on the to-do list for quite some time. But, sometimes life gets in the way and I’ve been trying to catch-up on other things. With a few days off for Christmas, I’ve set aside some time to tackle projects around the apartment. So here it is, pumpkin pie.
For the crust: I used the recipe mentioned here.
For the pumpkin filling:
1 jar of Stonewall Pumpkin Pie Filling
4 oz. heavy cream
4 oz. milk
Combine pumpkin filling, cream, and milk in pan and heat. Stir.
Beat eggs until smooth and combine eggs mixture with pumpkin mixture.
Pour mixture onto pie crust. Bake 15 minutes at 400°, then 40 minutes at 350°.
